On December 10, 2025, Service IT+ hosted “Secure 2026: Year-End Cyber Defense Briefing” at Las Flores, Uptown Ritz BGC, in partnership with M-Security Tech Philippines, Inc. and VST ECS Phils., Inc. The event ran from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and brought together representatives from leading companies and organizations across various industries in the Philippines.


The briefing aimed to equip IT and security professionals with the latest strategies, tools, and insights to strengthen cybersecurity, prepare for emerging threats, and build organizational resilience for 2026.


The briefing featured expert-led discussions on practical cybersecurity solutions. JJ Franco presented how Trellix solutions help organizations detect and respond to advanced threats, while Paul Cusipag showcased the RSA platform and its role in strengthening identity and access security. Fred Santarin discussed how Rubrik supports data resilience and rapid recovery, and Sharon Mallorca introduced the shift-left approach, emphasizing the importance of addressing security risks early in the development process before they escalate.


Throughout the day, experts shared advice on protecting organizations from phishing attacks, data leaks, and other evolving cyber risks. Participants gained insights on strengthening systems, improving visibility, and building stronger cyber resilience.
